Flying a Hop List

Hop List on Client

From Version 1.0.3.0 there will be a new option in your View Menu: Hop Lists

  • You cannot fly a hop list more than once. | If a new hop hasn't been added you will be presented with the error: You have already completed this hoplist!
  • You can join a hop list and continue normal flying between each hop, as your client will know where you were when you last flew on the hop list.
  • You must reach within 3NM of a destination for it to count as a hop.
  • If you close your client throughout the hop list or disconnect from the simulator you will need to restart the hop.

Joining a Hop List

From here a window similar to other lists in the client will be shown, click on each one to view the hop list details

and click Join to start the hop list.

If you meet the requirements of the hop list and are able to join it you will be presented with a message:

Welcome to {hop name}, Hop List. Your starting location is: {start} going to {dest}. - This will indicate that you are currently on a hop list.

Reaching the start location of your hop:

Once you reach your start location you will get the message: Next Hop Location: {dest}.

DO NOT FLY THE HOP UNTIL YOU GET THIS MESSAGE as your hop will not count.

Reaching the destination of the current hop:

Once you arrive at the destination a new message will show:

Well done on reaching {dest}, Your next location is {next}

You do not need to fly this now, however if you do you can carry on flying to the next location.

Reaching the Finish Line of a Hop List

Once you reach the finish line you will be presented with:

Congratulations you have completed the HOP LIST!

This means your hop list is now finished, and we are no longer tracking your location.
